8 Eye Exercises to Relax and Strengthen Your Eye Muscles

The first eye exercise is to close your eyes and make a fist. Close your eyes and pretend you’re holding something in your hands. You can imagine something small or something big, but the point is that your eyes should be closed. Next, rotate your head in one direction for about 10 seconds and then rotate it in the other direction for about 10 seconds. Repeat this three times, then open your eyes again.

Hold your hands in front of you

First, close your eyes and hold your hands in front of you about a foot apart. Then, open your eyes and focus on the palms of the hands that are in front of you. This will allow you to relax your eye muscles.

Hold your hands further away from you than your eyes

Hold your hands further away from you than your eyes, and keep them up as high as they can go. While you’re doing this, close the left eye and then slowly open it. Hold the right eye closed, and do the same thing with that eye. Do this 10 times to both eyes in a row.

Move your hands upwards 

Spread your fingers apart as wide as possible, then move them up and down in a sweeping motion.

Move your hands downwards

Move your hands downwards. You should feel a slight stretch on the upper eyelid.
